Gunnar's Campground
Given our small size, we’re probably one of the smallest campgrounds in Dalarna—but our ambition is to be one of the very best for anyone who comes here for nature, fishing, snowmobiling, and the adventures in the surrounding area Grövelsjöfjällen and Gränslandet as your closest neighbor. Gunnar’s Campground is located right next to Övre Fallet. That means you’ll fall asleep and wake up to the soft, low sound of a nearby waterfall.
Adventure is close at hand for both kids and adults—Renbiten’s tame reindeer are just 50 meters away, and depending on the season, you might even take a refreshing dip at Övre Fallet in the Grövlan River?
Med enbart 14 platser har vi förstås inte den stora campingens resurser och utbud. Vi har ett helt nytt servicehus med tre fina badrum, latrinrum för tömning kassetter, samt kök med ugn, tvättmaskin och disk. Vi har även en diskplats utomhus.
Alla platser har eluttag, f n 10 A. Från vintersäsongen 2026/27 kommer norra delen ha uttag med 16 A.
We offer both overnight sites and winter season sites. You’ll find more information on the booking page. Overnight sites are booked by clicking the booking button.
Please note that you must book a site through our booking system before you arrive at the campground. That way, you’ll also receive the gate code for entry.
